PLEASE NOTE: This is a week long summer camp held at The Artsmiths in Mt. Lebanon; each class is a 6.5 hour session from 9am-3:30pm. Registering for this camp includes registration for the full week of Monday, August 21st through Friday, August 25th.
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Explore acrylic and oil painting to discover their unique properties. Focus on texture, brush stroke, color mixing and focal point while utilizing various painting surfaces, in different sizes. Receive individualized attention so that you can create successful observational or abstract works of art by organizing forms and colors into finished compositions.
MATERIALS NEEDED: All materials are provided by the Artsmiths of Pittsburgh and costs are included in the tuition.
LUNCH: Students must bring a packed lunch unless other arrangements have been made through The Artsmiths by completing our Lunch Sign Up Form and paying the resulting fees at least one week prior to the start of camp. A limited amount of food and beverage may be available for purchase at our Koolkat Café.
