SUMMER CAMP: Stained Glass with Pittsburgh Filmmakers/Center for the Arts

PRESENTED BY:   The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts is a non-profit community arts campus that offers arts education programs and contemporary art exhibitions.

PLEASE NOTE:  This is a week long summer camp held at The Artsmiths in Mt. Lebanon; each class is a 3-hour session from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Registering for this camp includes registration for the full week of Monday, June 19th through Friday, June 23rd.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:  Learn a craft that has been around since ancient times. Use techniques such as soldering, foiling, overlay, and glazing and look to examples of stained glass throughout history as inspiration for the design of your own stained glass artwork.

MATERIALS NEEDED:  All materials are provided by the Artsmiths of Pittsburgh and costs are included in the tuition.

LUNCH:  Students who are taking the afternoon half-day Stained Glass class in addition to the morning half-day Mosaics class must bring a packed lunch unless other arrangements have been made through The Artsmiths by completing our Lunch Sign Up Form and paying the resulting fees at least one week prior to the start of camp. A limited amount of food and beverage may be available for purchase at our Koolkat Café.
