The Finding Presence Series is a three-part collaborative programming event with the Mt. Lebanon Public Library, the Himalayan Institute of Pittsburgh, and The Artsmiths of Pittsburgh that explores three different mediums; sound, body movement, and art as pathways to fuller awareness of the present moment. Each event will be held at the host site. Please call the Mt. Lebanon Public Library for additional information (412) 531-1912.
The third program in the series—Finding Presence in Art featuring Brita Thompson of Zenspire Designs—will be held on Thursday, September 15th at 6pm. This program is presented by and at The Artsmiths of Pittsburgh. Embrace the concept of slowing down and working on an art project that will foster mindfulness. The class is taught by Artsmiths staff and guest presenter, Artsmiths artist Brita Thompson. Attendees will choose if they want to draw their own black and white design, develop a design from templates, or color in one Brita's beautiful designs. The cost of this program is $10 per person.
