unbiasedlogo1.jpg

Exhibition Dates: Friday, June 24th, 6pm — Saturday, July 30th, 6pm

Opening Reception: Friday, June 24th, 6-9pm

In as much as this exhibition is a conglomeration of extraordinary work by many of Pittsburgh's most innovative fiber artists, it is a celebration of all that fiber art has come to express through a variety of new mediums. Fiber work is no longer represented only by soft treaded materials, but by paper, metal, glass, wood and other elements that enhance and duplicate the properties of how fiber has historically been viewed. Today, artists explore new shapes, tell modern stories, and champion social change.
