Ready—Set—Silver: A Four-Day Workshop

CLASS DESCRIPTION: In this four-day intensive workshop taught by Carol Scheftic, you will explore a range of general techniques for constructing and finishing art jewelry pieces using several different silver metal clays.  You should be able to complete four unique pieces in this time — flat, curved, draped, layered, or hollow designs as pendants, earrings, or other decorative items — for yourself and/or to give as gifts.

This session includes an extra treat!  There are a number of ways to set stones in this medium and we will examine several styles that you may use if you wish: these are the four that even beginners can accomplish on their first try, while those with some previous metal clay experience can add these to their repertoire!

PLEASE NOTE:  Most pieces will be fired overnight, between sessions.  Any not ready for firing on the third night will still be fired for you, and available for pick-up at Artsmiths within the next week.
